8th Years Anniversary

We went to Mannequin Pis restaurant and celebrated our 8th years anniversary yesterday. One of my colleages recommended this restaurant. Since we never had Belgian cuisine before and also the restaurant was so close to my parents' house we decided to give it it a try. To our surpise, the food was awsome. We loved it.

For starter, they brought out crunchy bread and butter.

For appertizers, hubby had the warm salad with smoke trout. We love the smoke flavor!

I had the Grilled duck pate’ in Red Wine Reduction sauce. It was so yummy!

Hubby also ordered a Belgian Biers (beer) since they specialzing in beer and Mussles. It was a little pricey, but good!

Main Course:

Pan seared seafood with creamy Saffon Risotto. The squids just melt in your mouth.

Mussels Mariniere – 1 kilo of Mussles in Sauce of White wine, Oinion, Celery, herbs and white wine served with Pommes Friets.

I can eat the whole pot of mussles :-) LOL.

Dessert: Cream puff with ice ceam. Yum!

Over all, we enjoyed it very much! We highly recommended this restaurant for special occasion.
