Here is another loaf of sweet Hawaiian Bread. You can taste the coconut too because I put one small package of shredded coconut in the dough as well. This will go well with a cup of coffee in the morning. Enjoy!
210 gram of milk
1 egg
400 gram of bread flour
120 grams of castor sugar
50 gram of salted butter (about 1/2 of a stick)
2 tsp yeasts
1 egg, lighten beaten for egg glaze
Method:
1. Put all ingredients together in the bread machine.
2. Select the Basic Dough.
3. Cut into 6 pieces then the dough is done.
4. Grease the pan.
5. Put the dough in the pan.
6. Let it sit for one hour.
7. Bake @350 for 20-25 minutes.
8. Put egg glaze on top of the bread before put in the oven.
9. After 25 minutes, brush melted butter on top of bread
And Voila`, you have yourself two wonderful, soft, delicious, sweet Hawaiian Loaves of conconut bread. Enjoy!

Hi Zoe,
I want to make this bread but don't have a bread machine. Can I still make this without it? If so, can you tell me the instructions to replace steps 1-3. Thank you.
Issy
Hi Zoe,
Please reply back to me as I really want to try this out. Your instruction for Sweet Hawaiin Bread said to combine all ingredients to make the dough, are these the ingredients: flour, milk, sugar, 1/2 stick of salted butter, yeast? Also, in step 7 you said to bake 20-25 minutes but then in step 8 you said put egg glaze on top of the bread before put in the oven. I am confuse right here. Please clarify a little more for I truly want to make this weekend. Please email me back at imtran888@gmail.com. Thank you.

Hi Zoe,
I still haven't made this yet for your recipe said coconut and I don't see anywhere in the ingredients. Can you tell me how much coconut to put in. Thank you so much.
Issy.
Re question about where's the coconut in the recipe--"I put one small package of shredded coconut in the dough as well," Zoe said in the preface to the article about this bread.
