Braised Pork with Dried Bean Curb Sticks - Thịt Heo Kho Với Tầu Hủ Ky

My Mom used to make this dish for me all the time when i was a little girl. I have not had this dish for the longest time . Then one day I found the recipe on this "Little Corner of Mine" blog and decided to make it. Instead of chicken, I used pork. I haved added other ingredients to suit my taste.

This is a great dish with rice. See how wonderful it looks?

In a pot, added the minced garlic and put in the slices of pork. Then add a little bit of fish sauce.

Stir-fry a little bit, and add soy sauce. Add in star anise.

Fry for a little while. Add in bean curd sticks and water.

Let it boil and turn the heat to low, covered and let it simmer for an hour.

After 1 hour, add in the 2 chilli peppers. And voila` you're done.

More pictures. See how yummy and delicious this is? Delish!
